My blogs sort of hit a stand still sorry.
I have been working on a tut but I scrap it everytime cause Im not happy with it.

My days off I will be trying to push some out as there are a few things happening here that I want to make tags for.
Like AC/DC coming to Melbourne WHOOP!! How cool is that!! Although I sadly missed out on tickets I will listen to their CD and pretend Im there LOL.
Also the 1yr anniversary of our Victoria bushfires is coming up.
My birthday in March. Oh the big 27 LOL

Move paper below frame layer

Magic wand again.

Open Tube, copy and paste as new layer.
Position so the head of the tube is over top of frame (see main pic for ref)
Selections-invert

Using the eraser tool erase some of the bottom of the tube so the wings and head arethe only parts sitting ot of the frame.

Selections-Select none.

Open the Branch, resize 60%
Copy and paste as New layer

Position to the left of the frame and move branch layer below frame layer.
DuplicateImage-mirror.
Using the eraser tool erase the bottom of the branches hanging below the frame.

Open Flower cluster doodle1Resize 60%
Copy and paste as new layer
position to the right slightly and move doodle layer under frame layer

Open the frame (Frame2),

resize to 60% and paste as New Layer on the blank canvas.

Using the magic wand click inside the frame

Selections-modify-expand, 15

Open the Paper (paper3), Paste as New Layer over the frame.

move paper layer below frame layer

Using the magic wand click inside the frame

selections-modify-expand, 5

Open the close up tube,

paste as New Layer

move tube layer below the frame layer

Change the tube opacity back to 100 (it will be at 50 if it is a Close Up)

Go to Layers-Properties-Luminance (Legacy)

Now get your tube and paste as New Layer.

Add dropshadow (Effects-3D Effects-Dropshadow, 2, -2, 50, 5.00, Black)

Now click on the frame layer and duplicate

Move the duplicated frame above raster1

Adjust-Blur-GaussianBlur, 30.00

Open Doodle2

Paste as New Layer and move below the paper layer (above blurred frame)

Mirror the original doodle and paste as New Layer over the other doodle.

Open the word art (SAD Word Art1) and paste as New Layer,

position to where you would like it

Add your text - Kristen ITC, size 48, stroke 2.0,

I used the colours from the word art.

Add a Dropshadow (same as with the tube)

Now add © info,and merge visible (save as .png if you would like your tag transparent)

Using the eraser tool erase some of the top of the charm so it looks like its dangling frominside the frame but still overlapping the frame.

Open 600 x 600

Copy and paste large circle in the centre of your page.

Use the magic wand tool and click on the circle.

choose your paper, Im using paper8

paste as new layer

selections-invert-delete-selections-selectnone

I remove the template layer but its up to you whether you want to or not.

copy and paste the dotted circle as New Layer.

Now using the rectangle, paste a paper following the same steps as above

Im using paper6

Paste the frame over the rectangle

Using the magic wand click inside the frame

Selections-modify-expand, 1

Now get your tube, paste as new layer position where you would like it.

Selections-invert now go to your erase tool,

and erase the legs that are overhanging the frame,

so the head is coming out of the frame and it looks like part of the legs are in the frame.

Now get the stars.

Starting at the small star,

magic wand,

paste your choice of paper (I alternated between paper3 and paper4),

selections-invert-delete-selections-selectnone.

Add a drop shadow (effects, 3Deffects,dropshadow)

to the stars to make them stand out.

with the settings, 2,-2, 50, 5.00, #C2BDC4

Get the guitar and slightly angle it (I used the deform tool)

and place where you would like it

Get the Skull.

resize by 60% and paste where you would like it

Add your copyright.

This was the very first tut I ever wrote (Nov 08).

Supplies Needed:
PSP8 (should work in any version though)
Obsidian FREE add-on - HERE, from Digital Chaos Scrap Store
1 or 2 tubes, I used the wonderful work of Keith Garvey, you can purchase his art from MPT HERE.

open a page 700x700

go to preset shapes and click on Rectangle.

Make a large rectangle (i did my line black and made the background colour null, the line I made 2.00), convert to raster layer.
move to where you would like.

click on magic wand and click inside large rectangle.
selections-modify-expand, 2.

copy and paste paper05,
selections-invert-delete-select none,
move raster 3 (paperlayer) below raster2 (frame layer)

click on raster 2.
magic wand again,
selections-modify-expand,2

Get your tube (Im using the close up and Ive changed the opacity to 100) copy it,
paste as NEW LAYER,

selections-invert-delete-selectnone
and move below raster 2.

Now go to Layers-Properties-Luminance Legacy.

Now hide raster 1, and merge visible (the paper, frame and tube layers)
unhide raster 1.

Now to make the small rectangle.
Go to preset shapes again and use the same settings as before but change the frame outline to white or grey (which ever you like)
convert to raster layer.

using the deform tool move your box and make it slightly diaganol like I have (or however you want it to sit).

get your magic wand again,
click inside the box and selections-modify-expand,2.

Get paper01 and paste as NEW LAYER. selections-invert-delete-selectnone and move below raster 2.

using the magic wand click on the frame layer.
selections-modify-expand,1.

get your tube and paste as NEW LAYER,
position where you like. Selections-invert.

now get your eraser tool and erase any bits you want to erase (Im erasing the bottom of the tube so the top of her is sitting above the frame). selectnone.

add drop shadow if you like.I used -2, 2, 50, 5.00, black.

Now to add ribbons and things to your tag.

I resized the ribbon to 60% and clicked on the merged layer (large rectangle) and placed it at the bottom).
Then resized again by 70% and put it over the small rectangle (i used deform tool to make it diagonal)

I then used the black rose,
I resized to 60% then 70% to get it at the right size.
Paste anywhere you like.

Now add your copyright info.
dont forget to say you tagged it ☺

Now Layers-merge-mergevisible.

crop and resize if you like save as .png - I like to save some tags in png so they come up as transparent, you can save a jpeg it will just get a white background.

Open Frame I provided
Magic Wand selections-modify-expand-10

Open the Ayers Rock picture and resize to 250%

position ayers rock picture so its sitting as much into the frame as possible
selections-invert-DELETE-selections-select none

Move picture layer below frame layer so its sitting under the frame nicely.

Now add a dropshadow to the frame:
vertical - -3 horizontal - 3 opacity - 50 Blur - 2.00 Colour - Black

Duplicate frame layer and move below ayers rock picture layer.
Adjust-blur-gaussian blur-30.00

Open the vegemite tube and resize to 15%
Paste as new layer around 11 or 12 times and position along the bottom of the frame (see picture for reference)

Open the tube of Steve Irwin with the Crocodile,
resize to 40% paste as new layer
and position to the right of the frame (see picture for reference)

Add a dropshadow
vertical - 3 horizontal - 3 opacity - 50 blur - 2.00 colour - black

Open the picture of the wee Roo
Because its in gif using the magic wand click on the edge of the roo
Selections-invert,
Copy and paste as new layer and position on the bottom left of the tag on
top of the vegemite.

Add a dropshadow
vertical - 3 horizontal - 3 opacity - 50 blur - 2.00 colour - black

Open the Aussie map flag tube.
Resize to 250%
copy and paste as new layer and move below the blurred frame layer

Add a dropshadow
vertical - 3 horizontal - 3 opacity - 50 blue - 2.00 colour - black

Now for the text At the top of the frame write
HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY

Anagram (free font I zipped with frame) size - 30 Stroke - 1.0 Font colour: Foreground - #E3ECF4, Background - #A18069

Move text layer below Steve Irwin tube layer so the text is just slightly behind his head.

Add dropshadow using same settings as before

Add your © & name or what ever text you like
Layers - merge - merge visible
Save as .png
and your done.

cross out all but Layer1
Floodfill

Now cross out layer1 and uncross layer2
Go to your palette, change the pattern to the 2nd glitter frame you copied over

For Animation:

Paste as new animation in AS
Edit- Duplicate Selected till you have 10 frames of your tag

open up your bling
Edit-selectAll-Copy
Click on TagEdit-SelectAll-Paste into selected frame

Position Bling where you would like it, I put mine over the lock.

I add text once animation is finished rather than before but you can choose either way.If adding text in AS then do your text in PSP, copy and paste as New Animation in ASDuplicate till you have 10frames, then copy the same step as you did adding the bling.Position where you would like it

Tube by CEI this is a PTU tube, you can get this tube from MPT
Scrapkit by Bea Creations - crazy (FTU)
Mask57 by Weescotslass
This tut was written in PSP9 but should work in any version.

Let's Begin....

Open 500 x 500
Flood fill white

Open Paper8
Copy & Paste as new layer

Layers-New mask Layer-from image
Select Mask and okLayers-Merge-Merge Group.

Open frame1Resize 50%
Copy & Paste as new layer and position on the tag over the mask layer (in the center)

magic wandselections-modify-expand,2

Open tubeResize 80%
Copy & paste as new layer over frame

Selections-invert-delete-selections-select none

Move tube layer behind mask layer

Go back to tube and undo the resize so it is back to normal sizing
resize to 90%.
Copy & paste as new layer
over the frame and position to the rightof the frame (see main pic for position)

Add dropshadow

Open deco8
Resize 80%
Copy & Paste as New Layer
Position behind frame

Using eraser tool Erase the parts of the deco
that are showing inside the frame covering the tube.

Open dragonfly1
Resize 40%
Mirror
Copy & Paste as new image on your tag

Add the © to your tag and Text of choice

I used BabyKruffy with settings
-size:48, Stroke:4, Bold, Centered, stroke:#9f005a, backgrnd:#dcaccb
Dropshadow (using same settings as before)

Open New Raster Layer 600 x 600
Flood Fill white

Open Paper2Copy & Paste As New Layer

Layers - New Mask Layer - From ImageSelect mask

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Open Frame2Resize 70%Copy & Paste as New Layer

Using Magic Wand, Click inside frame.
Selections - Modify - Expand, 2

Open Paper7Copy & Paste as New Layer

Selections - Invert - Delete
Move Paper layer below Frame Layer.
Open TubeResize 120%Copy & PAste as new layer
Position inside the frame so it is slightly to the right.
Change Opacity to 80
Delete - Selections - Select None

Open up Tube again.Hit the undo button so the tube is back to normal sizeCopy & PAste as New Layer

Position slightly to left of frame

Add Dropshadow2,2,80,10.00,#c74774

Open the glitter SplodgeCopy & Paste as new layer

Position to the right of the tag Duplicate
Image - Mirror
Move both glitter splodges down below the Mask Layer

Open Flowers 1 & 2Resize both to 40%
Copy and Paste each as new layer.
Position to right of main tube, I duplicated Flower1 and placed it above the flower1 aswell as below the flower1. (see main tag for positioning)
Move the main tube layer above the flowers layers.

Now add your copyright & text

Once Finished
Layers - Merge - Merge all (flatten)

For my copyright I used the Preset Shape Tool.Chose Ellipse.
Made a circle that followed around the circumference of the Mask
Click on the Text Tool, Click and hold down on the edge of the preset shape on yourwork page.
Release and the text box should appear on your screen to add your © info.Now your text should follow along the curve of your circle.
then clicked on the Vector Layer so it shows up both the text and preset shape.Then crossed out the shape.

*Open 600 x 600

*Open Frame6 Copy & Paste as New Layer

*Using the Magic Wand click inside the frame
Selections-Modify-Expand-5

*Open Paper11 Copy & Paste as New Layer
Selections-Invert-Delete-Selections-SelectNone

*Move PAper layer below frame layer

*Using the Selection Tool Change Selection Type to Rectangle. Select inside the Frame so the rectangle selects around the inside of the frame.

*Open Tube of choice. For the tube I used I resized to 50% & Mirrored so it was facing the other way
Copy & Paste as New Layer

*Position tube to the right of the frame.
Selections-Invert

*Using eraser tool, erase the bottom and some of the side of the tube that is hanging on the outside of the frame.
Selections-SelectNone.

*Open 68 from the lreasterparadeelem 2 folder Resize 60% Copy & Paste as New Layer

*Position to the right of frame Duplicate Mirror

*Move 68 and the Duplicated 68 Layers below the PAper & Frame Layers. So they look like they are behind the frame.

*Open 28 from the lreasterparadeelem 2 folder. Resize 40%
Copy & Paste as New Layer Position so it is sitting at the bottom of the frame (check main for ref)

*Open 29 from the lreasterparadeelem 2 folder
Copy & Paste as New Layer Position on the left of the frame

*Move the 29 layer below the Paper and Frame Layers

*Open 29,73 from lreasterparadeelem 1 folder (Dafodils)
Copy & Paste as NEw Layer

*Position both dafodils on the left of the frame beside each other.

*Open 14 (the bunny with an egg) from lreasterparadeelem 1 folder Resize 50%
Copy and Paste as New Layer Position to the bottom left of the frame.

*Add Dropshadow of choice

*Add © & Text

*Layers-Merge-MergeVisible
Save as .png

paste new layer

Layer - New mask Layer - choose your mask

open Folded Heart2
paste as new layer
dropshadow
V:3H:3Opacity:50Blur:5.00

Open Letter1 resize 70%,
paste new layer
add same dropshadow
open roses (single roses) resize all to 60%
using the deform tool, slightly angel so they look like they are lying down and positiontogether
Cross out all the layers EXCEPT the roses and Merge visble
uncross and duplicate layer.

on the duplicated layer
Image-Mirror

position on the opposite side (see picture for placement)

add dropshadow to both layers

Open Hearts Desire frame6, resize to 70%
magic wand, selections-modify-expand 2
copy paper9 and paste as new layer
selections-invert-delete- select none and move paper layer below frame layer
magic wand again,
open tube and resize to 200%
paste as new layer, selections-invert-delete
open tube again at normal size and paste as new layerposition tube so it is partially out of the frame

selections-invert

using the eraser tool remove the legs over lapping the frame
selections-selectnone

click back on the tube layer we resized
Layers-properties- luminance legacy

Open a Pencil, resize to 30%
paste as new layer over the envelope,
add dropshadow at same settings as before.
open the Love Crazed ticket stub, resize to 80%
paste as new layer and position so its sitting below the frame
move the ticket layer down so its below the merged roses layers so it looks likeits sitting slightly behind them
Now to add your copyright and Text to your tag

Layers-merge-merge all (flatten)
save!

Since MSN Groups announced their closure alot of us moved our groups to forums.
This opened the door to many exciting new things like Signatures at the bottom of each post.
So I decided to write a tut for a signature Tag.
This tut is best suited to someone with some basic knowledge of PSP.
It is a completly FTU supplies Tut using things from the one Scrapkit.
This tut was created by me.

SUPPLIES:
PSP (I used 9 but should work in any)
Mask84 from weescotslass
FTU Scrapkit: Is this Love by Bea Creations
FTU Font: Fiolex_Girls from DaFont

Open Transparent Canvas
600 width x 200 height

Open Paper5, paste as new layer
Layers-NewMaskLayer-From ImageChoose mask
Layers-merge-mergegroup

I used the deform tool to slightly alter the mask so it spanned across the workspace a bit more

Open deco2, resize 50%Paste as new layer

Duplicate and Mirror

open bling2 and paste as new layer

Open the teddy, resize 30%Paste as new layerMove to the right of the bling

Duplicate, mirror and add dropshadow of choice to each bear
Open flower5, resize 50% Image-Rotate-Rotate Anticlockwise
Paste as new layer and move near teddy, duplicate and slightly move across 3 moretimes so you have 4 roses

cross out all layers EXCEPT roses, Layers-Merge-Mergevisible
Uncross other layers, Duplicate, mirror

Using the eraser tool remove some of the right roses stems that are overlapping on the left roses.
Move roses layers below the teddys layers

Cross out all other layers EXCEPT roses layers.
Layers-Merge-Mergevisible
Duplicate layer Image-Flip

Uncross other layers

Open Flower10, paste as newlayer and position in the center so it covers the stems.

Add copyright (Kit:BeaCreations, http://beacreations.blogspot.com/)And name/ text you likeI coloured my text pink inside, black as stroke, size 48, stroke 1.0, dropshadow with white

Change opacity of mask layer to 50

Open the Christmas Garland

copy&paste as new layerin the center of the mask.

Magic wand the centreSelections-Modify-Expand,5

Move paper layer behind frame

select the closeup tube Resize 70%Copy&paste as new layer behind frame layer

Delete-selections-selectnone

Change opacity of tube to 80

Open the baubleResize 40%

copy&paste as new layer

Open tuberesize 80%mirror

copy&paste as new layer and place on tag to right of frame.

Duplicate tube (move behind the bauble)

magic wandclick outside baubleselections-invert

Using the eraser tool carefully remove the right leg (her left)

Selections-select none

Go to preset shapes and select Eclipse tool (making sure you havebackground on NUL)

Select text tool

Hold on circle and choose your font (and font colours, I used candycane(FTU)-size:20-stroke:1.0)

Convert to Raster Layer

Add copyright & Text of choice

Layers-Merge-Merge ALL
Save tag
